While the room was cozy, it felt a tad small for my taste. The walk to the bus stop involved some navigation through the area, and a shared bathroom could get a little busy during peak mornings, especially if you’re in a rush. It might take a bit more effort to get into the city center than anticipated, but it’s manageable with a bus ticket.

Solo traveler delight
Let me tell you, Sue made the best scrambled eggs I’ve had in ages! ! I mean, probably better than my own cooking. The bed was super comfy, and there were all these extras in the room like a cafetière and lots of toiletries, perfect for someone with a forgetful mind.
Look, it wasn’t exactly cheap, but it’s acceptable for what you get.

Comfortable stay with a delightful breakfast
I had a great experience during my stay! The room was spacious and cozy, equipped with comfortable chairs, and the shower was powerful and warm, just what I needed after a long day. The breakfast was truly exceptional, featuring a hearty Scottish spread with quality ingredients, and there were plenty of options to choose from. It would have been nice to have a bit closer access to the city center, but the lovely pub just around the corner made up for it.
